A new company has been unveiled in Boston. It’s called Wasabi Technologies. David Friend is the CEO, and he’s looking forward to going up against some big guys in data storage. According to David, “The leader in the marketplace in cloud storage is Amazon, and they have a product called S3. Our product is identical to S3 except it’s 1/5 the price and 6 times as fast.” David Friend said this is the 6th company he has created with co-founder Jeff Flowers, and they feel they’re in a good spot to take away clients from those big guys. His hot storage is fast.
