Learn to Earn: Our New Technical Certification for Partners

Our newest self guided training track, the Wasabi Technical Certification, can help you meet whatever goals you’ve set for your team. Designed specifically with system engineers and solution architects in mind, the certification is a crash course on the technical details of Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage and the features that customers want most. It’s accessible and friendly for other members of the team, too. 

What does the training cover?  

The training is separated into two parts: first, an introduction to hot cloud storage and then an introduction to Wasabi Account Control Manager. Both consist of a few short video courses and a quiz. Once completed, you’ll be awarded your shiny new Technical Certification badge, valid for two years.  

Introduction to Hot Cloud Storage 

You may be familiar with the basics of Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage, but experts and newcomers alike will find useful information here. Though our storage hasn’t changed—one tier of low-cost, high-performance object storage free from unpredictable access fees—we’ve added a few bells and whistles that customers have requested that might be new to you since our last training course.  

This track is designed to give our partners all the information they need to bring their customers the most complete picture of Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage. The topics include: 

• Security 

• Immutability 

• Replication and migration 

The replication and migration module is of particular importance for our resale partners as it covers two of our newer features that customers often request. Cross-region replication and data migration are important disaster recovery protocols as well as important tools in your arsenal in the fight against ransomware. 

Wasabi Account Control Manager 

If the first track was customer-centric information, this one is for the people empowering customers with simple, affordable cloud storage solutions. Our Account Control Manager product was built specifically with the MSP in mind, enabling fast, easy access to all the Wasabi storage accounts in your portfolio. For the uninitiated, Wasabi Account Control Manager is a single pane of glass that gives storage admins a top-down view of all the storage accounts they manage, displaying billing, usage, and other important information at a glance.  

In this track you’ll learn: 

• Account Control Manager basic uses and functionality 

• Initial configuration 

• WACM APIs 

If you’re planning to provision more than two Wasabi accounts across your customer base, this training is essential. This section will give you the ins and outs of managing multiple storage accounts from a single Control Account and how to use the platform to drive efficiencies for your team in everything from billing to renewals and maintenance.
