Wasabi Wins Cloud Storage Category on CRN’s 2020 Annual Report Card

The hot cloud storage company is recognized as a top-class channel provider in product innovation by solution providers

Boston, August 17, 2020 — Wasabi Technologies, the hot cloud storage company, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named the company a winner in the Cloud Storage category of the 2020 CRN Annual Report Card (ARC) Awards. Wasabi has been recognized for its best-in-class product innovation, strong partnerships, as well as industry leading managed and cloud services. As part of the ARC survey process, Wasabi earned high satisfaction from solution providers for its products and services.

The CRN ARC Awards recognize and celebrate vendor excellence and the commitment to driving channel growth and outstanding channel performance. The award provides the channel community with candid feedback from solution providers that is essential to revamping vendor product offerings, bolstering partner support programs, and improving partner communications to better foster successful channel relationships. More than 3,000 solution providers in North America were asked to participate in this year’s ARC Survey to rate their satisfaction with more than 60 vendor partners. The invitation-only survey was conducted by The Channel Company’s research team.

Wasabi’s channel program puts partners in control with an industry-leading price/performance model. Wasabi offers pay-go pricing as well as the new Reserved Capacity Storage option that allows for a greater discount for term and capacity. With disruptive pricing, volume incentives and next-to-no churn, Wasabi enables partners to resell or bundle the cloud storage service and set their own pricing options for end customers. Wasabi integrates with over 200+ technology alliance partners making it simply for channel partners to offer a complete solution to their customers and the partner APIs integrate into a solution provider’s own provisioning and billing system to streamline processes. With Wasabi, channel training and enablement focuses on driving sales around backup and recovery, archiving, data analytics, application development, content delivery, surveillance and IoT use cases, critical to the success of channel partners.

“Wasabi’s commitment to it’s channel community is illustrated through a strong alliance with partners and its innovation in the cloud storage industry,” said Marty Falaro, Wasabi SVP Global Sales and Alliances. “It’s an honor to be recognized among top-class providers for an award that reinforces our channel partner’s trust in Wasabi and our dedication to providing a simple and effective cloud storage technology that helps drive a solution provider’s business forward.”

“Developing a successful vendor-channel partner relationship is dependent on how well vendors can meet their channel partners’ expectations, and we’re thrilled to be able to recognize these vendors who go the extra mile to make sure they are delivering best-in-class products and program offerings to their channel partners,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO, The Channel Company. “CRN’s Annual Report Card not only offers tremendous insight into channel opinions of their vendor partners, but also provides vendors with actionable feedback that plays a pivotal role in shaping their channel strategy. Congratulations to the award winners and we look forward to honoring them at our XChange 2020 conference this August.”
