MSP360 Enhances Offering for Managed Service Providers with Integrated Cloud Storage Powered by Wasabi
February 10, 2021
BOSTON — February 10, 2021 — Wasabi, the hot cloud storage company, announced an expansion of the long-standing partnership today with MSP360™ Managed Backup Service (MBS). This partnership fully integrates Wasabi into the MBS platform allowing managed service providers (MSPs) to easily provision and manage Wasabi hot cloud storage from within their MBS environment.
Built for the cloud, MBS allows MSPs to manage backup data for hundreds of different clients with petabytes of data through a single interface, complete with monitoring and reporting options. By integrating Wasabi hot cloud storage into MBS, MSP360 is now able to fully offer MSP and IT customers a convenient one-stop-shop for backup and cloud storage. At 80% less than the cost of Amazon S3 with no fees for data egress or API requests and no vendor lock-in, Wasabi provides a scalable, long-term cloud storage option at an affordable price.
“The channel is experiencing increasing demands for backup and storage solutions as companies grapple with a massive spike in data that needs to be saved and protected,” said Brian Helwig, CEO of MSP360. “One of our goals at MSP360 is to continue to equip managed service providers with the tools they need to meet customer demands in a simple, and cost-effective way. Wasabi’s approach to cloud storage complements this goal well. We’re excited to partner with them to provide our customers with a new level of flexibility and cost-savings that only Wasabi’s cloud can provide.”
A common issue for MSPs is aligning their storage priorities with today’s accelerated growth in data. This logistical headache is further complicated by the need to manage multiple vendors and payment plans. MSP360’s integrated cloud storage powered by Wasabi, offers efficient cloud storage to MSPs, allowing them to buy software and cloud storage directly from MSP360 without the need to manage multiple vendors. Instead of receiving separate bills for Wasabi’s cloud storage and MSP360’s software, a service provider has the option to receive a single, easy-to-understand comprehensive bill highlighting both expenses.
“MSPs are a critical part of Wasabi’s business and are key to driving mass cloud adoption across industries. Unfortunately, most cloud storage options aren’t designed or priced with MSPs and other channel partners in mind. At Wasabi we’ve prioritized a channel-first approach in our product pricing and deployments.” said David Friend, co-founder and CEO of Wasabi. “MSP360 has taken a similar approach by enabling managed service providers to provide reliable and cost-efficient backup services. By integrating cloud storage powered by Wasabi, MSP360 can provide the channel with new storage capabilities while eliminating the headache of hidden fees for data retrieval that is all too common through other cloud providers.”
