Growing Talent Around the World
I am pleased to share that Wasabi has recently expanded our research and development capacity by onboarding a team of talented engineers based in Pristina, Kosovo. It’s a move that makes our company even stronger as we grow exponentially around the globe.
This opportunity became a reality after years of working with this team on joint projects and is beneficial to Wasabi in several ways. First, it allows us more flexibility and control over executing our partner roadmap and expands our core competencies by leveraging the best talent. These additional R&D resources are critically important as we continue to support our phenomenal growth. Gaining additional engineering talent will help us execute faster and more nimbly.
In addition, this expansion of our R&D team helps us leverage another location in Europe to build talent where we have expanded our presence significantly over the past few months with four storage regions in Amsterdam, Paris, London, and Frankfurt. Having technical expertise distributed across geographies accentuates the global nature and scale of our company and reinforces our commitment to thought diversity.
Our new colleagues in Pristina provide a foundation for an R&D hub in Europe that will become well integrated with our R&D team here in the US and elsewhere in the world. We have thousands of customers in Europe now and having an R&D hub on the same continent will be a great asset in supporting our European operations. I’ve been extremely impressed with the capabilities of our new team members in Pristina and this addition to our existing team will extend the world-class R&D talent we have here at Wasabi.
