We are seeking a Product Marketing Specialist with experience in on-premise and cloud data storage. This position will create and amplify our messaging, digital marketing and GTM initiatives with key technology partners, channel partners, and end users.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product marketing message around cloud storage
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, joint solution briefs and marketing assets with our partners
  • Travel: When social distancing and travel guidelines are relaxed, you will be expected to travel in support of Wasabi’s activities at trade shows, conferences, and partner events

  • Understand and market cloud solutions
  • Organize, track and document programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the Wasabi marketing team
  • Create and manage long-term goals
  • Evaluate program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Deal with rapid change and shifting priorities
  • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on priorities and services
  • Help develop strategy with the broader sales and marketing team
  • Team-player mindset and extremely collaborative with the ability to lead virtual teams inclusive of internal & external/partner team members

Skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline. (A combination of education and experience will be accepted)
  • Preferably 2-5 years of experience
  • Prior data storage and cloud marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Strong writing skills – an understanding of powerful storytelling
  • Strong editing and communication skills
  • Exceptional (English) communication skills: must be able to articulate a clear, persuasive argument and present data in an effective and actionable manner orally and in writing with both internal and external teams
  • Excellent collaboration, organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, deliver high-quality work, under extreme pressure at times, within a dynamic organization
